Making New Work

The art I made last year is out in the world at various galleries. As a result my studio walls are empty. I took the month of July off from focused art making but, as of August 1, I’m back in the studio, creating new work for a winter show.

It’s always fun to begin a new body of work and experience the process of ideas unfolding. I’m starting with some cicadas pieces because they are on my mind right now as their song, one of my favorite summer sounds, is everywhere.
