Daily Paintings and other Studio Happenings

This month I’m participating in the daily art challenge, Sketchuary. All of the daily small works I’m making are 5.5” x 5.5”.

Though I’ve been mainly sharing the daily studies this month, I’m also making new work which I’ll share more of in May, when the gallery opens for the season. I often share a lot of progress photos when making new work but right now, as I’m finishing some pieces and starting new ones, I’m holding back a bit and feeling the need to create in solitude right now.

We’ve had a lot of snow these past few weeks, and some frigid cold but it’s bright and colorful in the studio.

There are four foot icicles under those stairs right now.
