beautiful spaces and patterns

When I travel I take a lot of photos of patterns on architecture, in museums, and in the landscape. The photo above was taken in Central Park in New York. I love spaces that show their age with beautiful imperfections.

This photo was taken in Rome, at the Palazzo Massimo. The faded walls are especially intriguing and I treasure any glimpses of ancient painting I can get.
